[Wikiwyg-dev] Using wikiwyg in a textarea

Hi,
I'm new to wikiwyg and I'm researching it in order to try to integrate
it to dokuwiki.

My question is, can I use wikiwyg as a replacement of a textarea?

I know that wikiwyg converts a div into a textarea a triple-click,
but what I need is to only convert a textarea into wikiwyg and
later having the edited text sended in wiki-format in a normal
post or get variable.
Similar as what FCKEditor does.

Is it posible?
